Queens Birthday Public Holiday - Office Closed

The MyNetFone office will be closed on the Queen's Birthday public holiday next Monday, 13th June 2011. MyNetFone operating hours will return to normal on Tuesday, 14th June AEST.

Some trivia for the occasion:

The day has been celebrated since 1788, when Governor Arthur Phillip declared a holiday to mark the birthday of the King of Great Britain. Until 1936 it was held on the actual birthday of the Monarch, but after the death of George V it was decided to keep the date on the second Monday in June (except in Western Australia, where the date varies yearly).

Interestingly, the day also serves as the opening weekend to Australia's snow season - fingers crossed for an excellent snow season this year! Some of our team is already planning to hit the slopes in NSW.
