Easter Egg Hunt Winners Announced!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Easter Egg Hunt - we hope you had dun and it got you in the a light-hearted mood for the Easter Break.

All successful Egg Hunters had to answer a quick question as part of their entry: "What do you tell your friends to get them to join MyNetFone?" - below we provide the winner's answers. Some are funny, some are cute, some very practical, and all definitely champion MyNetFone benefits.

Time to announce our Easter Egg Hunt winners:

In response to the competition question, Alan wrote:

"I just show them my MyNetFone VOIP phone bill for the month and say "bet you can't beat that !" and then watch their jaw drop ....." Awesome mental image, sometimes even we ourselves are surprised by how much better off our customers are on the MyNetFone service.

I also tell them about the awards received by money magazine. I also tell them about my experience with my netfone- i havent had any trouble with them at all :)"

Nathan responded: "This is amazing! I'm living in the UK for a few months and have a Mynetfone box here with me. It means that I can call home for next to nothing and they can all call me for the cost of a local call. I can even call Aussie mobiles for better rates than if I was actually there!!"

Scott took a light-hearted approach to MyNetFone's benefits: "Cheap, cheap. Is...that a bird? No, it's a MyNetFone bill! Service delivered on time, every month, for quarter the price of a landline!"

Finally, Benjamin B. 'hopped' into the Easter spirit: "They'd be hopping mad not to! And now they can keep their existing number there's really no argument. Naked DSL maintenance in Queensland - 4-7am on 28th April 2011

Maintenance has been scheduled for the Queensland section of our DSL network on the 28th April 2011 (Thursday), which will help improve the speed and reliability of the Naked DSL service we deliver. However, this maintenance may effect your Naked DSL connection within the specified timeframe.

Date: Thursday, 28th April 2011

Timeframe: 4am-7am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (UTC +11)

Services affected: Queensland Naked DSL customers may experience Naked DSL and voice service downtime within the specified timeframe. If your service is effected, please reboot your modem (and VoIP adaptor if you have one) after maintenance completion at 7am on Thursday.

If you have any questions, please call our Technical Support Team on 1300 731 048 between 8:30am to 8pm Monday to Friday or 9am-4pm on Saturday.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Easter & Anzac Day long weekend operating hours

We're sure you're counting down to the double-whammy Easter & Anzac Day 5-day long weekend - our team certainly is!

The Business team will be on leave from Friday 22nd April to Tuesday 26th April 2011, returning to the office on Wednesday 27th April.

The Residential team's operating hours will be:

Photos from the Let's Talk Business Event

The "Let's Talk Business" seminar held yesterday on the topic of Cloud Computing proved to be a resounding success, with over 150 small business owners attending to learn more about letting their 'small business think big'.

MyNetFone Technical Director and Co-Founder Rene Sugo was one of the presenters at the event, and talked about how Cloud technology (in this case, Hosted or Virtual phone systems) is making big-business call feautures accessible and affordable for small companies.

"Let's Talk Business" is a program of four practical learning and networking events at Sydney's Customs House to provide the most up to date information and case studies on digital technology transforming the way SME’s do business. For upcoming events and to find out more, click here.
