What is VoIP?
VoIP is short for Voice over Internet Protocol. It's a fancy way of saying cheap phone calls through your broadband connection, not your phone line (landlines are so outdated).
In other words, with this new generation telephone service, VoIP users can expect to save up to 60% off their normal landline phone bill.
All calls made using VoIP are significantly cheaper than calls made using a landline service – see for yourself with our broad range of VoIP Plans and check how much you can save with our VoIP Savings Calculator!
It may sound high-tech, but in fact it is really easy to use! You can still make phone calls over your existing handsets, and your computer does not have to be switched on.
All you do is plug a little box – commonly called ‘VoIP phone adaptor’ - into your normal telephone handset and your broadband modem. Then you can make calls the same as you normally would, plus the savings of course!
