About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, exciting and growing company that is a leading provider of voice, data and software services for residential, business and wholesale customers.

The VP Business Development role will provide a business development function within the Global Commercial Business Unit. Encompassing new customer and supplier interconnects as, as well as prospecting, developing and completing sales of Value Added Services, Managed Services and Software as a Service (SAAS) products.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively and efficiently manage a portfolio of Next Generation customers to meet or exceed sales targets and other business unit goals
  • Prospect, develop and complete sales of Value Added Services, Managed Services and Software as a Service (SAAS) products to Next Generation customers and suppliers
  • Identify key customers in emerging markets that will support the GCBU goals and strategies from time to time
  • Provide general analytical and business forecasting support
  • Represent TNZI at relevant domestic or international trade shows and/or select customer meetings.
  • As this is an international business, you will be comfortable working different hours from time to time and travelling internationally.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or other related discipline
  • Experience within the domestic or international telecommunications market is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and numeric skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience
  • Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to present complex solutions in an understandable format
  • Well-developed relationship building and management skills
