Technical Support Representative-Residential

The Role: 

This role is in a busy contact centre team that provides support to residential customers. As part of this role you will need to take ownership of customer enquiries and complaints via phone and email and also provide coaching and guidance to other team members particularly the level 1 support team.

Your role will include:

  • Provide world class customer service in our inbound call centre
  • Assist customers to configure and setup their VoIP adapters and ADSL modems
  • Investigate and troubleshoot VoIP and ADSL requests/incidents
  • Communicating with a range of customers with various levels of technical knowledge.
  • Assist customers with account , billing and order enquires
  • Raise requests and orders with third party suppliers
  • Document customer interactions and fault resolution steps
  • Meet individual targets and contribute to team targets

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience providing support for ADSL/VOIP customers
  • A passion for great customer service
  • Outstanding communication including oral and written and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed problem solving skills
  • Time-management and prioritising skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills to autonomously and quickly resolve issues.
  • Attention to detail to get things right the first time.
  • Positive can-do attitude and friendly disposition
