The Role - Located 5 minutes walk from Central Station (Sydney)

This role will provide detailed analysis of the group's process and product performance. Key to this role will be to providing advice to and working with product managers and other key employees to ensure continued improvement in service delivery, operational efficiencies and higher levels of customer satisfaction.

Main activities are:

  • Produce and document processes accordance with business standards
  • Assist with developing training materials
  • Assist with producing and maintaining the Operational Manuals encompassing all product and operational elements.
  • Partake in projects designed to reduce operational costs on product delivery
  • Align all initiatives to achieve the core strategic business objective 'Customer Experience'
  • Be a key resource throughout the life of a product in supporting its ongoing operation and efficiency
  • Manage change requests in accordance with the Strategic business objectives
  • Develop solutions and tools with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of the sales force,
  • Act as Project Lead for cross functional projects
  • Align end to end processes across all business units,
  • Implement continuous improvement practices,
  • Conduct root cause analysis to ensure effective measures are implemented.
  • Assisting with the generation and presentation of business cases to the senior leadership team,
  • Working with the Operations business unit to monitor, identify gaps and opportunities in the current process and IT tools, with the aim of improving the performance of the service available to the customer
  • Conduct ongoing statistical analysis of the existing user base to ensure high understanding and awareness of existing, trending and developing usage habits

Experience and Skills

  • 3 – 5 years of Telecommunications Operational experience,
  • 1 -2 years of project management experience,
  • Understanding of MySQL,
  • Experience with ULL, NBN, ADSL technologies,
  • Experience completing Business Requirement Statements
  • Demonstrated experience in developing Test Cases,
  • The ability to conduct Test Cases include User Acceptance / Business Readiness Testing,
  • Previous experience in the development and delivery of post implementation controls
  • Experience in database management and knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in running effective workshops
  • An understanding of Financial Management practices.
